Hey!
This week was fantastic!! We were busy 24/7 and I am exhausted! The Laurel area has a ton of potential so hopefully Elder Buntrock and I can capitalize on it! I think we have 7 progressing investigators and 3 people on date to be baptized! It is great to be with a companion who wants to work hard. It makes things so much better!
Elder Buntrock and I have a lot in common. He is from Mesa, AZ and has been out for 7 1/2 months. He is a stud missionary and I am very grateful to get to serve with him. The family we have mainly been working on is the F. family. I have not met anyone more prepared for the Gospel on my mission then the F.'s. They are amazing. We taught them once this week and we were supposed to go back last night but they went out of town for 4 days. Elder Buntrock and I think if we can get them to church everything else will just fall into place. I am super excited to work with them. We also had a great lesson last night with S. and J. They are a kind and interesting couple. The lesson we had was on the Plan of Salvation and was super spiritual. J. (The wife), cried multiple times during the lesson. Their main problem is with organized religion in general. That seems to be the theme here. Everyone thinks that no religion has the whole truth. It kind of makes it hard. We also taught a crazy woman named S. She is 87 and a handful haha. When we teach her it seems like she hates us and just argues and gets angry but then when we leave she always wants us to stay. She even wants to take us out to lunch this week. It is a interesting situation.
We had a crazy experience yesterday after church. We went with a member, Brother Smith, to try and see a less active who lives in the middle of no where up in the hills. We finally found his house but got stuck in a bunch of mud at the top of a hill about a 1/4 mile away from his house. So we decided to hike to his house. It was crazy muddy and his road was basically a river from all the snow melt. When we got to his house we noticed that the road had completely been destroyed by the water running down it! He ended up not being home so it was kind of a waste of an hour and we got super muddy. I will send you a picture of the road.
That was about it for this week though! As far as seeing wildlife there is a bit more out here in Laurel. We have seen a few deer and what not. A lot of people here hunt as well which is a big plus. I also got to see Rory Sagers since he was in town for the state basketball tournament! Which by the way Columbia Falls won state this year - haha. I hope you have a great week and have fun at your lesson with the Sisters!
Love you tons!

Hey Dad!
This week was great! We stayed super busy and I am super exhausted because of it and it feels great! Haha. I am so glad that we can stay as busy as we are. It really helps stay motivated and what not. Thanks for your words of wisdom about the whole Basketball/Zone Leader thing. Looking back on it I am kind of disappointed about how I handled it. But it is done and over with now so I will just move on.
Laurel is pretty sweet. The people here seem really nice and friendly. Especially the ward members. It is different from Sweetgrass in a sense that it is a lot more run down I guess. But that is alright, humble people seem more receptive to the Gospel anyways!
The white deer is an albino deer! It had red eyes or what ever. It was way cool to see. We see a lot more deer in Laurel than in Billings which is so nice haha. I can not believe it is almost March Madness!!! Who do you think will win this year? How far do you think UofA will make it?
I think that dam area you are thinking about putting the trail camera would be great! Just try to hide it a little bit. If I remember right it wasn't to far from a road! I would be so jealous if you got a left over elk tag haha! That would be a blast though! I can't wait to go hunt elk with you when I get home! Only 8 months! Time has flown by. It is crazy to have people tell me that I am on the downhill when they ask me how long I have been out! This weeks email is kind of short but I should be at the Library for another 30 minutes or so if you email back I can talk to you for a little!
Love you tons!!!
