LOTS OF PICTURES...

Hey Dad!

I'm kinda bummed I am not going to get your letter until tomorrow since that is when we are heading back to Pavillion.

Anyways, this week has been pretty good! The most exciting news I have is that I finally got my I-Pad. It is pretty cool to have an I-Pad to watch Mormon messages and share them with the people we visit. It really does add a lot more variety to missionary work, plus it takes great pictures. haha. Although it does feel kind of weird to have something like an I-Pad while I am on a mission.

Back to this last week. It was pretty good. We spent Monday through Wednesday in Pavillion and came up to Dubois on Thursday morning. New Years was pretty fun. We went and spent New Years in with the Elders in Riverton. We played some games and the members they live with made some food for us which was awesome. Basically all of Wednesday was spent in Riverton for district meeting and then we had to wait there until about 5:00 pm for the Zone Leaders to bring down our I-Pads. It was well worth the wait.

Our District leader came on an exchange with Elder Kilmon and I. He has 2 companions so we were just in a trio until Friday. Our time in Pavillion has been pretty good. We have been able to go out with our branch mission leader a bit and visit/meet some new people. We have decided we are going to start spending some more time in DuBois then the previous missionaries had been which I am excited about. I feel there is a lot of missionary work in the area, we just have to work hard and find it.

Church was pretty good yesterday. Our church starts at 9:00 am here which is my favorite time. It was Fast Sunday so it was good to hear the members testimonies and kind of see who the people we would use to help us teach would be. There are about 40-50 active members in our branch so it isn't to small. Wouldn't you know it though, we go to church once and of course we get asked to speak! Man I seriously hate speaking. Maybe that is why I end up doing it so much. Who knows... I will just be glad when it is over with.

It sounds like your week has been pretty busy! At least you got to get out and do a little bit of hunting. I really liked your pictures. If you want to try another spot go see what that area in 37b looks like that I sent you the coordinates of. I think it could be good along with the 37a spot you said you might go try. Either way just make sure not to end your season unless it is a big boy! Haha I have been within 50 yards if 5 buck that are over 140 and 2 are closer to 170! We have seen that cemetery buck a few times around that area and on the surrounding hills. He is a toad. He has got to be around 175". Anyway I hope you get to do some more hunting and maybe stick a pig or even better a big ole' muley. Also I don't know if you care but I know the ATA show happens this week and it might even be today but I am not sure. But it might be cool to see what new archery stuff has come out and bowtech will release there bows!

Anyway, I hope you have a fun week. Enjoy the little things! I love you tons and can't wait to be hunting with you in a year!

(It's my week to hand write a letter...so I didn't get a very big email this week - Kendra)

Hey!

This week has been pretty good! We have been in Dubois since Thursday and we will leave tomorrow. It has been pretty cold lately, around 10 degrees! On Friday night there was a blizzard and you couldn't see more than like 10 feet in front of you! Anyway, this coming week should be interesting if it gets as cold as you say it will. Brrr!!!!

Unfortunately I didn't get Dads letter yet but it is probably waiting for me in Pavillion. At least I hope so! I can't wait to get your letter this week

Love you tons!

We can't tell if he's full from Christmas dinner or what...but we did notice he
still keeps his room like he did before he left!
