Hey!!
This week was a good one but it was pretty different with transfers and all! Monday was awesome! We had a district P-Day so our whole district got together and played sports (soccer, football and basketball). The Sisters even made rice crispy treats and sang for my Birthday! It was pretty good for being away from home. It doesn't beat fishing or looking for deer but it was good!
Elder Griffith and McCandless (Who was in the Cody 1st ward) left on Tuesday so I was with Elder McCandless's companion, Elder Hayes. We got along really well but were only together until Friday I wish we could have been companions this whole transfer! We stayed pretty busy those 3 days since we had to cover 3 wards! Elder Davis my new companion got in on Friday! He served here for 9 months on his mission and got to come back for his last transfer! He knows so many people here and has already built relationships with some investigators and less actives which is helping the work out a lot! He was Just an A.P. so he likes to be in charge which is fine with me. He is a heck of a missionary and I have already learned a ton from him!
On Sunday we were able to get 4 less actives to church and 2 investigators! The C. family who are a less active came. It has been years since they came! We went over later Sunday night and had a lesson with them and they are really making a lot of changes and seem sincere about doing what we ask!! :)
We dont have much planned for the day. We are going to get some haircuts and I need a new water bottle. I did get some slippers and they are great! Thanks for all the birthday wishes and the homemade jerky and muddy buddies - they were awesome! It meant a lot!
I love you guys tons!
Hopefully I will have some more to write about next week!
Love,
Elder Richardson
CHALLENGE FOR THE WEEK:
Please pray for me and the work we are doing...it is important to find people to teach and share this great message with them.
